Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 1 April 2026

1. About these terms

These terms and conditions govern your use of the Sisture website and any commission or purchase you make with us. By engaging our services or using this website you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you have any questions, contact us at hello@sisture.com.

2. Consultations

Initial consultations are complimentary and carry no obligation to commission. Consultation slots are reserved exclusively for you — if you need to rearrange, please give us at least 48 hours’ notice. We reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for repeated late cancellations.

3. Commissions & bespoke orders

All bespoke commissions are confirmed by a written agreement and a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the agreed price. The balance is due prior to final handover.

Because each garment is made to your individual measurements and specification, bespoke commissions cannot be returned or refunded once work has commenced, except where the garment is found to be materially defective.

We will conduct a minimum of two fittings during the making process. It is your responsibility to attend scheduled fittings and to notify us promptly of any significant changes to your measurements.

4. Pricing

All prices quoted are in GBP and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Quoted prices are held for 14 days from the date of issue. We reserve the right to revise pricing if the scope of a commission changes materially after confirmation.

5. Delivery & collection

Delivery timelines are provided as estimates and may be affected by fabric availability, the complexity of the commission, and the number of fitting rounds required. We will keep you informed of any changes to expected timelines. Risk of loss passes to you upon collection or signed delivery.

6. Intellectual property

All designs, sketches, photographs, and content produced by Sisture remain our intellectual property. You grant us permission to photograph finished garments and use those images for portfolio and marketing purposes, unless you explicitly opt out in writing at the time of commission.

7. Limitation of liability

Our liability to you for any claim arising from a commission shall not exceed the total price paid for that commission. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on our website at the time of your enquiry or commission will apply to that engagement.
